First 5k!
The girls before the big race! I look either still asleep or scared to death? I have always loved walking/running, but have never been in a organized event until today, July 1o which has been circled on the calendar for a few weeks now! I didn't officially sign up until Thursday even though I knew I was going to do it...I still had cold feet! 
I can't tell you what in the world I am laughing at, but it sums up my feelings after my first 5k! I loved it & had a blast! It feels good to get out of my comfort zone...push myself...sweat like a mad women...run with sweet friends down one of my fav streets in Auburn! We all came in with personal best times too...and 3 out of the group won door prizes! I think my 8 year old, Wal-mart running shorts brought me luck...no kidding they are my fav!

love that the after group pic was taken about 7 seconds after I crossed the line. looks like i'm gasping for oxygen in the thick july air! i was! :)
I am so proud of you! Way to go! It is such an accomplishment to complete a goal that you've worked and trained for! Keep it up!
Congrats! Blog stalked you from Amy's blog. I didn't realize you had been married so long! Congrats on that too!
