All fear is GONE!

Last week we had a very uninvited guest appear in our backyard. A long, black, skinny snake slithered under the deck (that we were on) to escape attack from this bird that me & Miller were watching. I have been uneasy about the deck, yard, & swings ever since until today. I conquered my fears and we played outside in the backyard all morning! We even busted out the old plastic swimming pool & water hose. All fear is gone!

Family Fun!

Friday night Sadie had her first water fountain experience!
The adventure started with jump houses & water fountains, dinner, & ended at TCBY...she had a ball!
Sitting on the back of a Thunderbird convertible at
CityFest on Saturday.

The pleasures of a simple balloon!
Riding "Peanut" the Pony the first of many times.
Loved our butterfly with "diamond" eyes!
This was our last stop before leaving all the fun of Cityfest...it got us to the car with no tears.

Playing at the Park!

Ashley, this is what it would look like if your twins were triplets!
Miller is out of town...visiting grandparents. We are missing him, but enjoying having just our Sadie. This is him trying to get under the dining room table he is "army crawling" everywhere.
See ya tomorrow, Miller.

Peas!!!

Converstion on way home from swimming lessons:
We are singing...
Peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot 9 days old
Some like hot, some like it cold, some like it in the pot 9 days old.

Sadie: Mama, I don't like peas!!!
Me: Peas are good, why don't you like them???
Long pause...

Sadie: Cause I'm not a Mama, yet!

A-Day!

A-day was amazing! We all had so much fun. It was Miller's first appearance inside the stadium & he loved it. For those of you who do not know...me & Lee met at a Auburn football game in the student section fall of my junior year. Got engaged before a Auburn football game (I had the score of the game we met at engraved in Lee's wedding band) & announced at a Iron Bowl tailgate to my family that we were expecting Sadie. Auburn football is kinda special around here for lots of reasons. So, today we added to our "Auburn football memories" by all being in the stadium a family of four. It was the perfect day...War Eagle!

Melt In Yo Mouth, Good!!!

My first ever made from scratch sour dough bread hot out of the oven with real butter spread on the top! I feel so old fashion & oh so southern.
Early this morning before my little ones were up, I floured my counter top and kneaded the dough by hand. It was more work than I thought, but oh so worth it!!! One loaf for our dinner tonight & the rest to share.

W is for War Eagle!!!

W is the letter of the week this week for Sadie's MMO class! I racked my brain for all snacks that begin with the letter W. We were assigned snacks for the week & this was our special snack day today...
W sugar cookies with icing and special order orange & blue sprinkles. (thanks Holly) Sadie wore her War Eagle dress, too!
The smile says it all...she enjoyed the cookies at school so much that she needed one of the leftovers at home.

Pretty in Pink!

My dad attended the Masters this past week & picked up these for S & M. God love the man for being such a sweet PB (that is his initials & what all the grandchildren call him), but I think he forgot that Miller is a boy & their sizes. Sadie (2) is wearing a sz 6-8 & 9 month baby boy miller is sporting a sz 2-4! Too cute not to post...PB this just makes us smile and love ya more!!! Thanks for thinking of us & Sadie has a Masters shirt for the next couple of years.

Easter Excitment!

The Easter bunny dropped by early & we LOVED our new
rain boots and "underbrella!"
Watching all the big kids hunt eggs &
just nibbling on some grass!
"Wook its a cheetah egg!" It was not about the "hunt" for Sadie it was all about what was inside each egg.
He looks so big...
The best one out of many!

Waiting to GO!!!
Filling her basket full!
Look at all my eggs!
Sadie at the Easter brunch eating (wearing) a yummy cupcake!
I was holding Sadie's hand while walking into the preschool when Sadie looked up at me & said, "Mama, you my best friend!" I love this little girl so much & we had a sweet time together at her Easter egg hunt & brunch!

Wild Weekend...Wild "Hair"

Our weekend was "fabulous!" (one of S new words) Lee spent some time on the golf course Friday & I had dinner out with the girls on a whim. We kicked off Saturday with a trip to the park and lunch downtown with out of town friends. Got both children down for early naps and then headed to Kirkley's Aubie Birthday party. Sadie jumped in the Aubie jump house the entire party she only came out to eat the icing off one cupcake! Miller had a ball, too. I had to wake both of them up to make to it to early church & then we headed to lunch with lots of friends. After all of us took naps we then had some family time! Sadie wanted to build towers in her room so we are all in her room building when she starts yelling, "Milwah is into everything in my room!!!!" She was right, so we decided we would go feed the ducks. It was lots of fun. Miller was fascinated watching them & Sadie will not stop talking about "the duck with hair!" After all the adventures of the weekend both children were in bed by 7pm which gave me & Lee some time to talk, eat dinner, & watch old Master highlights! It really was a "fabulous" weekend & both children slept until 8 am this morning. Got to love it!

9 Months

This sums it all up!!!
First time playing in the fireplace...
Miller feeding himself a bottle something his big sis never did!
Showing off his two new teeth!
He adores his big sister!
Miller is now scooting everywhere. Has 2 new teeth, waves and says bye-bye, and claps his hands. Has tried lots of new table foods and loves them all. He for sure hears "No No" more than ever!
Because several of you have asked I wanted to share that we just so happened to run into his physical therapist yesterday (I so know that God allowed our paths to cross). She did a exam on Miller right there on the spot and had nothing but just amazing things to say. She is thrilled with the way Miller's head looks & said he is a complete success story. She again told me that no other baby she has worked with has responded to therapy the way Miller did. We give all the glory to God for the progress Miller has made & I reminded the PT of that and all the many prayers that were prayed on his behalf. My heart is so full for the love shown as we walked through this time. Thank you again!
Happy 9 Months "Milwah Man!"

My Sweet College Roommates

My sweet college roommates were in town over the weekend and we had so much fun! Our day kicked off with a 3 hour lunch which gave time for lots of catching up. It never fails that when we are all together we talk about how much we loved our college days and that we would go back and do it all over again. What precious memories...
Yes, they are all three pregnant!

Wanted to Add that they are ALL BOYS!!!

Hello Sunshine!

Don't have time to play with this crazy arrangement of pictures, because of all the time we spent this morning doing all of the above!!! I love when my day gets turned upside down, because of a simple trip to the mailbox. The way our sidewalk collects water when it rains was once thought of as a major inconvenience now we think differently! All in how you look at things...today the sidewalk was greeted with squeals and screams and provided lots of entertainment! Miller got in on the thrills by tasting rain water and grass for the first time. The blessings that come with having little ones...I just love it! (Sadie ended up in the wash sink after all that splashing for a quick rinse before her well deserved nap!)
