Where is Miller???

P-PIE!!!

This just started 2 days ago & it is precious!

Notice that he does not really cover his eyes....

This just happens randomly throughout the day

& we are loving it!

All she has to do is look as him & he laughs.

They were just sitting together when all the sudden Miller attacked Sadie & planted a big open mouth kiss right on her lips!

I grabbed the camera as he was determined to get as much sugar before nap time as he could! This went on for 15 minutes...

Back to Church

Now that we are all healthy we were able to make it to church this morning. We even made it to early church (early), took breakfast for Sunday School & had lunch afterwards with sweet friends! It feels so good to start the week with worship & christian fellowship.

Lee, Sadie, & Miller are now all napping...house is quiet, did some baking, & now headed to the pile of laundry that awaits me.

Date Night Surprise

ever have a complete stranger pay for your dinner? we did tonight!
after a movie we headed to one of our favorite places downtown that we went when we dated. we sat next to this older gentleman who we chatted with a bit. when he was leaving lee spoke to him & he told us that he had taken care of our dinner. what a treat and random act of kindness!!!
thank you to the sweet man who made our date night out even more special...

God answered those prayers and we can't wait to meet this little one...

WHAT IS COOKING, MAMA? IT SMELLS GOOD...

Creamy Slow-Cooker Chicken

4-6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
seasoned salt
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz cream cheese
1/3 cup white cooking wine
1 envelope Lipton onion seasoning
1 8 oz package sliced fresh mushrooms

Sprinkle chicken heavily on both sides with seasoned salt. Cook chicken in hot oil in a large skillet over med-high heat 2 to 3 minutes on each side-just until browned. Transfer chicken to a slow-cooker, reserving drippings in skillet.

Add soup, cream cheese, white wine, and Onion dressing mix to hot drippings in skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly 2 to 3 minutes or until smooth. Arrange mushrooms over chicken in slow cooker. Spoon soup mixture over mushrooms. Cover and cook on LOW 4 hours.

This was a huge hit! I served it with brown rice and green beans & it made enough that we are having the leftovers tonight! :)

Popcorn & Diet Coke!

After playing outside all afternoon Saturday me and Sadie were ready for a snack. Sadie picked popcorn & I loved the idea! Here is some of our conversation...
SB: Sadie, Diet Coke is sooo good with this pop-corn.
Sadie: Mama, Can I please have a sip of your Diet Coke?
SB: No, Sadie you have juice. Drink your juice! (Why did I say that?)
Sadie: Please, Mama can I taste your Diet Coke?
SB: OK, just one little sip.
Sadie: Will you get me a straw?
SB: OK. Let me get you a straw.
Sadie: I need a hot pink one, please!
SB: Remember just one little sip!
Sadie: OH! Mama that stuff is good. Can you put some of that in my sippy cup?
SB: Laughing...No Sadie you can't have Diet Coke. You may have juice, water, or milk. I took the diet coke to the kitchen so she wouldn't see it anymore. I walked back in & she had this funny look on her face & said...
Sadie: Mama, "When I grow up I want to drink Diet Coke & eat Coffee just like you!"
